tech is for Technique. tail-f is unix command to check rolling logs. Compare anything to be done with constructing house. Without blueprint or plan it can’t be achieved. So all activities as much as possible should have a blueprint plan. Another advantage is if successful, the blueprint can be copied by others. It’s what some call blueprint, some call formula, some call technique, some call methodology. Basically don’t reinvent a technique if it already exists which is synonymous to don’t reinvent the wheel.
